Quadro assisted Syntect Consulting Engineers with the Finucane Island Berth C Upgrade by providing a team of 1-2 people for 6 months to model the new Berth C components, per the MPD JV drawings, plus the existing Berth D, new access road and surrounding sea-bed.
By carrying out this portion of the work, it allowed Syntect to concentrate their efforts on the construction temporary works, plus the ’time-line’ model to demonstrate the various construction phases & accessibility.
Modelling Berth C also performed a checking function on the drawings prior to manufacture, highlighting a number of potential errors along the way.
